Rules of the Auction

1. Each case will contain one auction item of a certain value. There will also be a corresponding case of an item of an equal value. The cases will be bid on two at a time.

2. Our "banker" will call up Spark Simon a.k.a. Howie and select the first two cases to bid on. The bidding amount to start at will be told to Spark from the banker. There will be a 2 minute time period that the attendess will be able to bid on the two cases at hand. The banker, however, could call up Spark and extend the bidding (at 1 minute increments) if there is significant interest in the two cases.

3. Once the time has elapsed, the winning bidder will then have the opportunity to see what is in the two cases. At that time, the individual must select one of the two items for the amount they won the case bid for. They will say either "Deal" or "No Deal" on case #1 or case #2. The person does have the choice to take both cases for double the amount of the bid.

4. The case item that is not selected will go on to the live auction. The attendees will have up to 3 minutes to bid on the non selected case. The "banker" will call Spark with the amount the disclosed item will start at for the live auction. Again, the banker can extend bidding on the disclosed item if he sees there is significant interest.

5. The person who won the case bid will select the next case to be bid on. The corresponding case will also be indicated.

6. STEAL Cards: We will sell steal cards for $25 prior to the auction starting. These cards are important cards to have. These can be used if another individual wins the case bid and selects an item that you want. Since this item would not go on to the live auction another individual wouldn't have an opportunity to bid on the item once it is disclosed. You can use a steal card to take this item from another individual. You would turn in your steal card and would need to pay the value that the other individual won the case for. There will be approximately 1 minute to use steal cards before the unwanted case is put on the live auction. There can be a maximum of 4 steal cards used on one item.

7. One added incentive to increase the bidding amounts on the cases, one of the models will receive half the amount that her undisclosed case goes for. The individual will not be revealed until the end of the auction. So family members/friends may want to help increase the bid on their models case.
