The Locos were locked into a 2-2 tie until they broke it open in the top of the eighth in route to a 9-4 victory on Tuesday afternoon at Anderson.
Ajay Meyer got the start on the mound for the Locos and went six innings surrendering two runs (one earned) on seven hits while striking out three. Meyere would leave the game with a no decision as the he gave way to eventual winning pitcher Jordan Wolfe. Wolfe went 1.2 innings giving up two runs on three hits, striking out a pair. Jon Wes Adams took the loss for Anderson.
The Locos were the first to get on the board with a run in the top of the second. With two outs, Ken Myer doubled and came in to score when T.J. Daugherty reached on an error by the Servants shortstop. The Servants would even it up in the bottom of the third after a fielders choice and two consecutive singles would bring in Jeremy Hazen. The Servants would put up another run in the bottom of the fourth with the Locos following suite and scoring a run of their own in the top of the fifth to tie it up at 2 a piece.
The scoring would be at a halt until a big top of the eighth inning put the Locos on top for good. The Locos took advantage of four walks, a hit batter, and three errors in the inning in route to five runs (one earned). The Servants would counter with two of their own in the bottom of the inning but the Locos would put up two more of their own in the top of the ninth sealing the 9-4 victory.
The Locos move to 6-2 on the year while the Servants fall to 1-7
