Lima, OH- In the second double header of the weekend Lima picked up another two wins as they slipped by Xenia 4-3 in the first game and cruised to a 12-4 victory in the second game. Game one was a make up of a rain out in Xenia where the Locos led 5-2 before the game was called.

In the first game the Locos were actually listed as the away team because the original game was supposed to be in Xenia. However, it didn't slow down the Locos start as Andy Chriscaden's RBI double would drive in Connor Hudnall to take a 1-0 lead in the first. However the Scouts would answer with three runs to take a 3-1 lead. But the Locos would fight back and in the sixth inning Chriscaden singled and T.J. McManus was walked. Cesar Loiz would pinch run for McManus and after an error allowed Chriscaden home, an error on the Scouts pitcher would allow Loiz to come in to tie the game. In the seventh inning, Will Arnold was walked and a long drive RBI single from Hudnall would bring Arnold home to win the game 4-3.

Luke Bushur had the start for the Locos and picked up the win, his second of the season. He pitched six of the seven innings and only allowed four hits with three runs, two of which were earned. He also posted four strikeouts and two walks. Adam Clark pitched the final inning and would record the save, his second of the season. He would face just three batters and have a strikeout, as well as catching a line drive.

In game two the Locos got things started early as Andy Chriscaden would hit a solo home run in the second inning and Harry Clark was brought in on a George Roberts RBI single. Lima would continue to bring runners in and never looked back as they took a 10-2 lead after a big sixth inning. They would have a total of fourteen hits in game two alone.

Taylor Braun started on the mound for Lima and collected the win, improving his record to 1-1. Braun only allowed six hits with two earned runs in six strong innings. He would also have four strikeouts. Ethan McKenny and Eric Kartman would pitch in relief of Braun. McKenny allowed two hits for two earned runs, while Kartman allowed no runs or hits. Both had a strikeout.

The Locos will be back in action on the Fourth of July as they host the league's best team, the Cincinnati Steam. First pitch will be at 6:00 and fans are welcome to stay after the game to watch the fireworks of the Star Spangled Spectacular, which starts at 10:00.
