The Lima Locos
improved to 2-0 in the exhibition season with a dominating 17-2 win
over the Lima Legion Post 96 baseball team Wednesday night at Shawnee
Field.
Bryan Bonner, Sean
Boley, and Scott Boley each homered to lead the Locos’ 17 hit attack.
Brain Garman was the
most impressive pitcher of the night for the Locos. He threw the first
two innings, allowing no hits and striking out 4.
The Locos play their
final tune-up game tonight at Shawnee, taking on Geneva. The Great
Lakes Summer Collegiate League opener is Friday night versus defending
champs Grand Lake at 7 p.m. at Shawnee Field.
